From our Buenos Aires office, we collaborate with our team of talented designers, senior programmers, and project managers who are experienced in marketing, client relations, and web development.
We provide a host of graphic and design services for top American and Argentine clients, which have included Sony, Volvo, Greenpeace, PBS, among others.
Jeff Milton | Chief Technology OfficerJeff has been an Internet pioneer for 23 years. In the early days of the Internet, Jeff worked to improve network infrastructures and founded an ISP outside New York City. Later, he created one of the first eCommerce businesses. In 1995, Jeff joined IBM's Internet Technology Group to work on live content, content management and personalization. At IBM, Jeff created the world's largest corporate directory, 'The Blue Pages', as well as the world's first XM- based content management system. In 1999, Jeff left IBM to be the Principal Technologist at Razorfish, a 2000-man dotcom media consulting firm where he developed wireless and web delivery solutions. Jeff later joined PA Consulting Group, one of Europe's most prestigious consulting firms. Jeff's experience and insight play a valuable role at Liquid Designers. Though we tell people that Jeff came to Argentina to help start Liquid Designers, his primary motivation was to learn to dance Tango.
Kaveh Golabi | PresidentKaveh started his first web 2.0 company in 1999 while a student at the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduation, Kaveh joined the Strategic Technology Division of PA Consulting Group where he worked with Jeff to create a web based dashboard to help executives make strategic decisions. In 2002, Kaveh cofounded Cramster.com, a web 2.0 community and the Internet's top destination study community. After two rounds of funding, Cramster.com sold to Chegg.com, the world's top textbook rental site, in December, 2010. At Cramster, Kaveh worked as the Director of Marketing and became an expert in search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, and online community building. Kaveh then took his entrepreneurial skills to Buenos Aires to start Liquid Designers. Kaveh spends his spare time playing in a full-contact Argentine American football league and reminiscing about his former high school football triumphs when his body was young.
Hernan Sofiro | Creative DirectorHernan started his design career in 1995 while working at Quadro Marketing. He graduated from the Fundacion de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Comerciales with a degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications in 1998. While working as a freelancer for some of Argentina's most renowned agencies, Hernan has built a large client base, which includes companies like Sprite, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Crossmedia, Chevrolet and Fibertel. Hernan not only has a solid understanding of color theory, but he also has ample practice and expertise using a variety of image and 3-D modeling software, including After Effects, Vue 7 xStream, Plasma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Firewords and Flash. When he's not wowing us with his design skills, Hernan can be found showing off his video game prowess to competitors young and old.
